Rookie
So I'm not a very good writer or anything but I figured I would make it easy for our family and friends to keep up with what is going on in the Semans world.
I'll add some pictures when I get home. (I'm at the office right now, I know, hard to believe). Eliza is changing so much each day. She can repeat after me the entire alphabet and her numbers 1-10. She is getting to be a bossy little thing (again, hard to believe, right?). She and Arden argue a lot over toys and if she happens to touch him or "bother" him.
Arden just finished up his first season of tee-ball. He got kind of tired of it after the first few games but we stuck with it. I loved all the parents of the players and getting to hang out with them every week. He is going to Miss Selma's summer play school this summer (along with Eliza) and he loves it, although a lot of his friends from last year aren't there. His long-time friend, Julia, moved away to Memphis, TN. It was so sad explaining to him that she wouldn't be at school anymore. Hopefully we'll be able to keep in touch with Julia and her parents, who we have hung out with a few times and really like.
Avery and Aaron are having a good summer already. They have joined the swim team at the pool near their mom, Michelle's, house. I think they enjoy it. Apparently, it is an hour long practice of constant laps. I'm glad they are getting in some good excericise. They will be going to Los Angeles for two weeks in August to visit their grandparents. I am trying to convince Jonathan to let us go to LA at the same time to visit his brother, Jacob. I've never been to LA and I have a good friend that lives there, plus I would love to see some celebraties... :)
Other than swim practice, they have been going to the Athletic Club for summer camp. They also both have gotten their own cell phones and the use them as walkie talkies around the house. Jonathan loves it cause they call him more often when they aren't at our house.
I'll post some pictures soon...
